Question about WGA on Windows XP does not?

My idiot friend installed Windows XP on my computer with one of these facilities without assistance. Apparently, this was a cracker or something, because now Windows fails the test of WGA. I bought a key I know a way to modify the registry key, I just wonder if anyone knows if this will work? Here the process. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/productkeysactivation/ht/changexpkey.htm I do not want to reinstall Windows on it. Thank you.

If the steps outlined on this site will work. I've done this before, and it works every time.

"IÂ've installed Windows Vista on my PC.Â"

WasnÂ't I was surprised to read the text message on my phone. Came a PC user for a long time which, for reasons which will appear soon, it remains hidden behind the pseudonym "Roger.Â"

"I use the paradox crack, which tricks Windows into thinking that Vista youÂ're run from a manufacturer [OEM OEM] computer, so donÂ't need to start over, "Roger told me when we met at the weekend, happy as ever.

He was referring to the activation product, a measure that Microsoft introduced with the version of Windows XP. The fight against piracy scheme that requires users "activate" the software by sending a product key via Internet to demonstrate that they are running a legitimate copy of Windows. Otherwise, after a certain Borrowed Time software useless.

In recent years, Microsoft has added an extra layer of protection as being Update on Internet prescribing without a license for Windows installations. These anti-piracy measures gathered in Windows Vista, the new system operating that Microsoft released in January.

In early March, however, a hacker group released the Paradox crack that takes advantage of how operating systems Windows bundled with computers from major brand companies like HP and Dell do not need to be activated.

"Microsoft allows large hardware manufacturers … to ship products containing a Windows Vista installation that does not require activation Product …,  "says the README file that comes with the Paradox crack.  "In the place of those so called OEM Â'Royalty granted the right to integrate information of certain licenses in their hardware products, which can be validated by Windows Vista for further activation information (online or by phone) obsolete. "

The crack is circulating on the Internet as a compressed file (RAR) file.

Stages in the README file are quite simple:

1.) Install Windows Vista from any CD installation without entering a product key during installation.

2.) Run the emulation to fool Vista into thinking it is running on a computer with an OEM license fee. The choice of an "Asus" at this stage given the right to install Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home Premium or Home Basic.

3.) Restart your PC.

4.) Implement a program to install the corresponding OEM certificate selection at No. 2.

5.) Implement a program to install the appropriate product key. A file that comes with the crack shows product keys for Asus computers (6), Acer (1) HP (3), and Lenovo (1).

"The Process excluding any installation of Windows Vista – took me about 20 minutes because of the recovery, and took great care, because to follow the instructions to the letter, "said Roger.
"When it was over, after reporting that a product has been activated and running IÂ've been able to download 50MB of updates to the site Microsoft Web without problem. "

Research purposes, I downloaded the Paradox crack (only 428 kilobytes) and examined records. CanÂ't I attest that it works because I have a Vista PC didnÂ't to prove it. In addition, piracy is illegal. Anyone wishing Use Windows Vista, you must pay full price for Italian, and these days, THATA about P26, 000 for the Ultimate edition. I prefer to use an operating system free software that can download and use without breaking the bank or any law, but I digress.

What about Windows Vista, now that ita crack?

ITA difficult to imagine a company as aggressive as a litigator and that Microsoft is sitting. Perhaps when you read this, started against the websites that lead to the crack. One might even going to stop computers using the OEM product keys, but IÂ'm not sure how they could do so without hurting legitimate buyers branded PCs. In the long term it may even lead Microsoft to impose product activation to its OEM customers as well. If it does, it would only reinforce the idea that legitimate Microsoft customers bear the real cost of their campaign against piracy by recurrent and ultimately unnecessary — authentication procedures and the high price of software. After all, someone has to pay all legal fees and human programming hours spent in the kitchen new systems of protection that broke a month or two later. And you can bet that wonÂ't be Roger.
