windows xp running startup scripts slow

"Uh, huh? You spent $ 50 on the keypad a Freakin '?" I'm fine with my $ 15 Microsoft Special!

Well, it nice, but I am a picky person down the keyboard while I type on. After going through three different types of keyboards over the last two years I began to understand how the keyboard strokes suck. When I say standard stroke, I am referring to how High and low travel keys.

Instead, I began to favor the keyboard of my laptop more and more. Yeah, I was one of those people who could not understand the plan and smaller differences in the keypresses, but I found that I typed quickly and specifically on a laptop keyboard.

And in case some of you are wondering, I'm not an Apple fan boy. On a strict Microsft vs. Apple sliding scale, I'm on the side of Microsoft. However, credit is awarded where it is due and Apple really has produced a Product valuable reference.

After looking around my agency, Best Buy and try a bit of keyboards, I saw the Apple booth complete with Apple aluminum keyboards. At first glance, I knew I wanted the damn thing. The solid aluminum body and sober, white keys stood out immediately. You could easily hit someone upside the head and hit them if you tried. Yeah, it's really solid!

With the keys only a few millimeters in height and separated from each other, dust, debris are easy to clean. Keyboards typically have their keys ready in rows with a side of another batch to leave open space for debris to fall. Take your keyboard, turn it upside down and see what falls.

Feel

My first impressions of the keys to being effective, "Wow, I like!". The keys are short, while like a laptop keyboard. You get the Clickity "bed" in the same way you do on a laptop keyboard that provides great voice information. Tactile evaluation is great that you can clearly feel when you press a key. Push the buttons are small and break very easily. The combination of CRISP, presses for short primary, with great strength of tactile feedback contributes to faster, more accurate, and typing over consistent.

Features

More of this Apple keyboard are two USB ports are. Strangely enough, the USB ports could charge my Touch Pro and read a flash drive 8 GB, but he could not provide enough energy to run a 4GB Sandisk Cruzer Micro. Windows complains that there was not enough power to power the USB device. This could be the LED flash drive drawing too much power, but it has no meaning because The keyboard can charge my phone. Weird.

Apple also includes the additional function keys assigned ot the F1-12 keys. Since I 'm running Windows XP, I had to get drivers or using third party software to get the media keys and volume of work. I tried to use Bootcamp drivers but for me, Windows does not like it. So I had to resort to using a free software called rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.autohotkey.com/"> AutoHotKey. Coupled with the correct script, controls on the media great work! Cons

Overall, there are no major drawbacks, just a few annoyances Minors:

  • Lack a Num Lock key. When you log into Windows before digital lock is enabled, I have to use keys for digital online typing my password: (
  • No dedicated standalone Windows software to enable / customize the buttons feature. I hate installing third party software for simple things like that.
  • The delete, home, insert, etc. keys are a bit farther from the keys on a normal keyboard. I use the arrow keys to move around in PC games and transfer to delete, home, insert, Key feels so awkward.
  • Post key keypad operators sign (+ – * /) are shifted.
  • May take some time getting used to. The keys are very light and flat as normal keys have a slight concavity feel them. Keep in mind of typing on this keyboard is similar to the sensation of typing on a laptop keyboard. The keys are much shallower and require less pressure to push down. If you do not like typing on a laptop, so it's not for you.

Bottom Line

Overall I'm quite happy with the aluminum Apple keyboard. It's stunning to watch, solid as a rock, has media keys and provides key style notebook. However, if you do not like typing on a laptop, this keyboard is not for you. But for people who want to tap a computer keyboard laptop all day, what has your name on it.
