Word 2003 File Menu Delete Entry?

I uninstalled ScanSoft OmniPage SE 2.0 and installed the new version 4. In Word 2003, when I click on File, I see two entries for older OS 2.0 and two tickets to the SE 4. I want to delete the two entries for OS 2.0. The council said using the combo Ctrl.> More hiphen H. button to activate the cursor into a symbol hiphen and use them to click on the File menu entry to remove. This does not work. I deleted all files in C reference OmniPage 2.0 and all the relevant registry keys, but two entries always appear in the File menu in Word. Ctrl-V followed by Ctrl-T had no effect. When you click on View> Toolbars> Customize> Commands> File OmniPage elements not included in the command window correct.

You should be able to remove menu entries like this: 1. Press CTRL / V followed by CTRL / T. This will open the Toolbars menu. 2. Click Customize on the bottom. 3. Click on the menu item to delete and drag it off the menu. This should get rid of him. Be careful not to drag it to another menu or toolbar tools. 4. Do the same for any other item to delete. 5. When you are finished, click Close. You can get a warning after change the global template (Normal.dot). This is a safety feature to prevent viruses modify the model on their backs. Since you made this change, please OK. That should do it.

Trend Micro Internet Security uninstall properly, you must ensure two things: The program has been completely closed / off, all keys registry has been cleaned. It looks like a basic rule to uninstall any other program, but none of these things can be done easily, as Trend Micro embedder almost every part of their services on your system, so difficult to get users or completely disable the software or locate each key registry.

Trend Micro First to close, you can click on the icon bar to close the basic service or kill the process by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to open Task Manager. But I think the safest place to close and fully uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security-mode failure, which is a guarantee that neither the security services, or programs that others may have files associated with Trend Micro will be charged.

The second step is to clean all files and registry keys. Normally, we Panel> Add / Remove Programs can remove all your important files and their family register, as is the case in safe mode. But this does not necessarily give a complete uninstall, you can always get the services pop up and, in any attempt to reinstall or install other security software may be refused. If it what happens in your case, it can try to find and locate files and directories:

  • C: \ WINDOWS \ Program Files \ Trend Micro
  • C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ tmtdi.sys
  • C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ tmxpflt.sys
  • C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ TM_CFW.sys
  • C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ vsapint

Since the entries related to these files of stay in different parts of your registry and hard to identify, appropriately the risk of danger of spoiling his record while finishing with an uninstall fails. I did not want that risk, so it was very helpful when I tried to uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security. A small application called Wine Perfect Uninstaller as my final solution. He has a special method called "force that can automatically uninstall look deep into your system and delete all files and registration on the basis of directories and files that you provide, which means that you need only locate the files mentioned above, the remaining work is Perfect Uninstaller quickly.
